Hidden Hills Official Site

Hidden Hills is an incorporated city, and also a gated development in Los Angeles County. It is located in the westernmost San Fernando Valley. Approx. 2,000 residents enjoy a city that has preserved a country way of life that has nearly vanished from the surrounding communities of Southern California. It boasts an authentic bucolic atmosphere as witnessed by the absence of sidewalks and street lights, the white three rail fences, and bridle trails. Its beautiful and peaceful ambiance make it a treasured rural component of Los Angeles County and one example of small town Southern California living at its finest. Long a popular low-profile haven for the rich and famous, the first of many actors to reside in the community was Huntz Hall, of "The Bowery Boys" fame. Among the more notable celebrities to live there over the years were Bob Eubanks, Sue Ann Langdon, Marvin Gaye, Harry Nilsson, Bing Crosby sons Lindsay and Gary, Lisa Marie Presley,Toto and Boz Scaggs drummer Jeff Porcaro, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Dodger great Don Drysdale, comedians Sinbad and Howie Mandel, Billy Blanks (creator of workout Tae bo) , soap star Jed Allen, "Bread" leader David Gates, tennis player John Austin (brother of Tracy Austin), film composer Mark Isham, and a host of notable behind the camera folks and studio VPs and Presidents. About The Valley The San Fernando Valley has no American counterpart. Encircled by five ranges of mountains and hills, the basin could hold all of San Francisco, Boston and Washington, D.C. combined. The population of 1.7 million is more people than live in a dozen states. The Valley has a story all its own that dates back two centuries. Vaqueros, outlaws and battling armies are part of the lore, as are Lucy and Desi, Gable and Lombard and Marilyn Monroe. It's the birthplace of Valley Girls, the subtext for Chinatown and Boogie Nights, the home turf of Disney, ABC, Universal & Warner Bros. The Valley today is the multi-cultural melting pot for Los Angeles?and growing all the time.
