Valley Village is a district located in the San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles, north of Studio City and west of North Hollywood. Approximately 22,000 residents live within the boundaries of Valley Village, which consists mostly of upscale single family homes and small shops and businesses.
The community of Valley Village was first formed in 1939. In the 1990s, Valley Village was officially recognized as a separate community by the Los Angeles City Council.
